If You’ve Ever Felt Guilt After Your Animal Passed On, You Aren’t Alone

Dear
One of the things I love most about being an animal communicator, is the ability to let people know that their animals in spirit love them unconditionally and that they are okay.
Most people feel tremendous guilt after their animal transitions and now I know this is universal. The question, “does he/she forgive me” comes up in nearly every reading. It doesn’t matter how the animal crossed over. Accident, illness or old age, we think we could have done something differently or better to help them.
The animals who are asked this question, 100% of the time, say “there is no need for forgiveness. There is only love.” They truly feel so much love for us, we can’t even comprehend the depth of it.
When I was a child, we had a dog named Danni. She was a beautiful, golden feathery creature with a dark muzzle and fluffy white tufts of hair on her back legs. We got her when our neighbor's dog had puppies. Unfortunately, because my family did not have experience caring for dogs, she spent time tied in the back yard. We took her for walks every day but she didn't live the life she should have, inside playing with us and sleeping on the sofa. Even as an older adult, I can't think of her life without becoming tearful with guilt. The one polaroid picture I have of her sits on my desk. It’s 44 years old.
I never dared to do a communication with her, even knowing what I know about animals in the afterlife. The guilt I felt made me think I couldn't face her. She was a loving, precious being who was not treated the way she deserved to be.
Finally, at the age of 56, I gathered the courage to contact her. The very first thing she did was jump into my arms and hug me. I felt her soft blonde fur and cried my eyes out. I am crying writing this now. Such is the tremendous power of animals and their souls that know so much more than most of us realize. Animals are about unconditional love. Many have told me that death “isn’t even a thing.”
If you have felt guilt after the passing of a beloved pet, know that you don’t need forgiveness, your animal is with you and loves you to the moon and back and then some.
